Yes, we can build you a work area! Either the LevLok™ floor or a slab floor will accommodate insulation. We do not recommend that you try to insulate a floor which sets right on the ground. We do not recommend that any heated building be set directly on the ground as heating an area draws moisture/vapor up through the floor promoting mold and rot.

We routinely wire sheds for lights and plugs. Exterior motion sensor lights and security systems are easily accommodated. Very important to the small heated work area is the insulation. The typical shed or small work area is serviced by a piece of 10 gauge direct burial wire or a heavy-duty 10 gauge extension cord. You can’t count on more than 15 amps being available so it’s important that you insulate well. If you use propane or wood to heat it’s not as critical that you insulate heavily.
